Sam Young of GKL Westward Leasing took on the MPG Marathon around the Cotswolds, stopping of at various locations on a two day route planned by fleet world.
Open to all production cars and commercial vehicles, the idea is to find the best and most efficient route to a determined location over two days and 300 miles.
Sam and his team mate Chris Lilly, of Next Green Car, took on the challenge successfully in a Kia Soul EV. Ther were the only competitors brave enough to take on the challenge in a pure electric vehicle. Details of the event can be found at www.thempgmarathon.co.uk
