Why have they bothered? Having had some success with a commercial Shogun they adopted a rear with no seats or side windows which is classified by HMRC as a van. This qualifies for the Plug in Van Grant which is up to 20% of the transaction cost. This is considerably more grant money than the car version. This “Hidden Gem” is waiting to be discovered by you.
