Vacancy at GKL – Business Sales Development Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a self-funded national leasing organisation with an established customer base and impressive profitability. The candidate will be based in High Wycombe.



The primary aim of this role is to apply a service led approach to working relationships with new business customers; the role will include the following key activities:


  • Develop and maintain a prospect database with parameters agreed by the company
  • Follow up all new customer and prospected enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Using appointments to enhance sales and relationships
  • Prepare and provide information and quotes in a timely and professional manner
  • Negotiate and obtain orders
  • Handling and resolving customer concerns and complaints
  • Comply with customer underwriting procedures
  • Ensure all orders comply with administration and cash policies. If necessary using credit control skills to pursue payments
  • Maintaining customer vehicle sales records to a high standard
  • To be involved in any marketing or promotional ideas
  • Report all activities and relevant information promptly, weekly or as required
  • To give close attention to the creditworthiness of potential customers, visit and assess and to assist with debt collection where necessary



An individual with an excellent sales record and ability to build and maintain close business partnerships is required for a new opportunity based in High Wycombe. The successful candidate will demonstrate on application an understanding of the leasing market and the ability to provide a high standard of consultative service to this organisation’s clients. This role would be ideal for an individual with proven sales ability who thrives on high end customer service and is looking to develop in this area.
